Dissemination of the EARLY-ASD Project at the XII National Congress of the Polish Educational Research Association – Olsztyn, September 16–18, 2025
Professor Joanna Madalińska-Michalak, leader of the EARLY-ASD project, participated in the XII National Congress of the Polish Educational Research Association in Olsztyn, a leading forum for exchanging knowledge and advancing educational research and pedagogy in Poland.
As a member of the Congress Program Committee, Professor Madalińska-Michalak delivered a keynote lecture and co-chaired Section 10: Pedagogy Facing Questions About Humanity in the Era of the Digital World and Artificial Intelligence, alongside Prof. Jacek Pyżalski (UAM), Prof. Maciej Tanaś (APS), and Dr. Joanna Dziekońska. This was one of the largest sections of the Congress, featuring 27 paper presentations.
In the introductory part of the section, “Human Being and Education in the AI World – Fundamental Questions and New Challenges”, Professor Madalińska-Michalak presented findings from the EARLY-ASD project (Project No. 2024-1-PL01-KA220-HED-
The presentation highlighted the significance of storytelling in the development of children with autism spectrum disorder and its application in pre-service teacher training.
Section 10 discussions demonstrated the critical importance of addressing human-centered questions in the age of digital transformation.
The Congress provided an excellent platform for dissemination of EARLY-ASD results, promotion of innovative pedagogical approaches, and exchange of experiences among educators, researchers, and practitioners. This event contributed significantly to raising awareness about the project and fostering international collaboration in inclusive education practices.
