EARLY-ASD MEETING IN ÇANAKKALE

The second Transnational Meeting (TMP2) for the EARLY-ASD Project,  successfully concluded its two-and-a-half-day session in Çanakkale, Türkiye, from 17-19 June 2025. Hosted by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (COMU), the meeting served as a crucial monitoring, planning, and scheduling event designed to ensure successful collaboration and project alignment across all partner institutions.

The initial day focused on administrative steering committee issues related to project strategy documents, while the subsequent sessions were dedicated to detailed planning for the preparation processes of the project outcomes.

Significant progress was made concerning the core intellectual outputs (Curriculum Compilation) and (Digital Social Story Development). Partners agreed upon the compilation process and design of the whole curriculum, setting deadlines for its creation. The meeting established a two-tier expert evaluation approach for quality assurance, incorporating both internal evaluation by team members and experienced professionals, alongside external evaluation by independent international experts.
Detailed planning for WP3 included scheduling workshops (with a target of 10 preservice and current teachers per partner country, totaling 40 participants) to begin on 10 October 2025. Discussions also covered the complex process of developing animations, including text content creation, technical development (mp4), and the eventual multilingual dubbing process.
Looking ahead, the partners finalized the initial planning for the creation of a Practical Guidebook for preservice preschool teachers. The meeting assigned detailed timelines and responsibilities for content development and outlined the project’s critical piloting process. The event concluded with a successful confirmation of action items and deadlines, and the announcement that the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting (TPM3) will take place in Madrid, Spain, on 26-27 November 2025.
